As many as ten inches of snow will cover the county by the time this storm heads out of our area later today. This wintry weather has shut all Rockland County public schools, along with Rockland Community, St. Thomas and Dominican colleges.

The following private schools and day care facilities are also closed today:

Rubin Gittelman, , St, Anthony's in Nanuet, A Starting Place Child Development Center, Haverstraw Head Start, ARC of Rockland, Cornerstone Christian School, Ages and Stages, Vicky's Studio, Robin Hill and St. Catherine's, Temple Beth El Nursery in Spring Valley, Street Community Center, Sonshine Day Care and Nursery School, Tops for Tots Children Center in Spring Valley.

Bais Yakov of Spring Valley is closed but students should call in at 11AM for updated information.

Congregation Sharey Israel’s Purim prep work session’s been cancelled.

St. Aiden's of Pearl River has cancelled all religious ed classes and this evening's Pro-Life Mass.

T.R.I.P.S. bus system is suspended for the day.

Jawonio is closed for programs and staff, along with the Social Security offices in West Nyack.

Camp Venture AM & PM programs have been cancelled.

Rockland County Office of Mental Health’s Partial Hospitalization Program and Community Support Center are both on a 2-hour delay. No transportation will be provided.

Ramapo-Catskill Library System is closed, along with the Finkelstein Memorial and Haverstraw King's Daughters public libraries.

Meals on Wheels of Rockland has cancelled all meal deliveries.

Senior Day Care and Senior Net are closed.

The following senior clubs will not meet today: Active Golden, Nanuet #2, New City #3, West Nyack and Town of Haverstraw Seniors.

Suffern Seniors Arts & Crafts Program and Line Dancing have been cancelled.

JCC- Rockland Senior Center and programs are closed.

Planned Parenthood Hudson Peconic is closed.

The Korean War Veteran’s Eagle Chapter meeting set for tonight has been postponed ‘til March 9th.
